1. Introduction
 
The wire drawing machine is an important equipment for the production of metal wires, which mainly draws metal wires into various specifications of filaments. Common wire drawing machines are: water tank wire drawing machine, straight wire drawing machine, roller-skate wire drawing machine and so on.
 

The straight wire drawing machine is a small continuous production equipment composed of multiple drawing heads. By drawing step by step, the steel wire can be cold drawn to the required specifications at one time, so the work efficiency is relatively high. However, since the wire diameter of the steel wire has changed after each level of drawing, the working line speed of each drawing head should also change. Depending on the configuration of the die, the drawing speed of each drawing head also changes. The benchmark of drawing speed is the constant flow volume per second of the steel wire passing through the die at each moment, even if the following formula holds:

In theory, we can maintain the steady state of the system through the transmission ratio. However, in the actual operation process, due to the error of the mechanical transmission and the errors at all levels in the process of starting, accelerating, decelerating, etc., each drawing head cannot be synchronized, so we designed the use of easy-drive GT200 inverter + displacement sensor Plan. GT200 frequency converter automatically adjusts the running speed of the frequency converter by sampling the feedback signal of the displacement sensor, so as to realize the synchronous and stable operation of the system.

The straight wire drawing machine includes: a water tank for wire drawing, 4 (or more) slave machines, and only need to press a start button and a stop button throughout the work. A high degree of automation of the equipment is realized and labor is greatly saved.

2. Requirements for the inverter
 
1. The inverter requires good low-frequency torque characteristics and large starting torque.
 
2. PID responds quickly to ensure that the entire system works smoothly in a synchronized state.
 
3. The inverter has a disconnection detection function. When the disconnection occurs, it will automatically give a disconnection signal, so that the entire system will stop quickly.
 
4. For each level of slave, when the front cylinder arm is not tensioned, there will be no action when starting or stepping on the jog until it runs synchronously after tensioning.

3. Advantages of GT200
 
1. The software adopts advanced current space vector algorithm, and the hardware adopts international advanced DSP chip to ensure the stable and reliable operation of the inverter.
 
2. The traditional PID algorithm is improved, and the special PID response algorithm for the linear wire drawing machine with unique stroke ensures that the system is continuous during start, stop, acceleration and deceleration.
 
3. Relying on the dedicated PID algorithm, further processing the PID calculation process, to ensure that each slave machine starts the system or the inching system when the front cylinder arm is not tensioned, and the slave machine does not move. When the cylinder arm is tensioned, the slave machine responds quickly, without threading and loosening.
 
4. GT200 specifically deals with broken wires, without adding hardware such as travel switches, and automatically judges broken wires without missing or false alarms

4. Inverter parameter debugging
 
Under normal circumstances, the special program for the straight wire drawing machine does not need to debug parameters, and its parameters are all built-in. Only the customer needs to wire according to the diagram, which greatly facilitates the customer. Transmitter mode: When the sensing surface of the displacement sensor is close to metal, the feedback analog signal is weaker, and vice versa. When debugging, select the transmitter mode according to the changing law of the cam surface and the sensor surface.

5. Daily maintenance
 
1. Regularly check whether the sensor is fixed firmly and whether the sensor's feedback signal is within 0~10V
 
2. Due to the harsh working environment of the wire drawing machine, clean the inverter control cabinet regularly to ensure that no foreign matter enters the inverter and ensure good heat dissipation of the inverter.
